POP access to Yahoo! Mail is a free feature and exsklusif for Yahoo! Delivers members. If you have opted to receive promotional mail in your Inbox when registering on Yahoo! Mail, you will automatically become a member of Yahoo! Delivers.
If you are not a member of Yahoo! Delivers, make sure you have enabled the feature pop before using the feature. To enable the feature pop follow the steps below:
1. Sign in to your account Yahoo! Mail Classic
2. Click the Mail Options link in the upper right corner of the screen
3. Click the link on the Pop Access and Forwarding Mail Options screen
4. If you have not registered on the Yahoo! Delivers, you will be asked to register. Click Yes in the list box
5. Fill in the information requested and press Done
6. Select Web Access and Pop. You can choose to receive messages that are considered spam by SpamGuard or not. Click on your choice
7. Press the Save button at the bottom of the screen
Once done, you can begin to set Email Client such as Outlook Express on your computer or your mobile phone.
To receive and send Yahoo! Mail messages, you must set the mail server (POP) arrival and delivery (SMTP)
-Incoming POP3 server: pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk (port 110) Encryption: No encryption
-Outgoing SMTP server: smtp.mail.yahoo.co.id (port 25) Encryption: No encryption
-Account Name / Login Name: your Yahoo! ID name (without the "@ yahoo.co.id")
-Email address: Your email address Yahoo! letter (eg, pengguna@yahoo.co.id)
-Password: Your Yahoo! Mail password
Please note - while using Microsoft Outlook, change the '@' sign on your address with a '%'
GMAIL
Log in to your Gmail account, after successful login click the "SETTINGS" upper right corner, then click again "POP3/IMAP4 forwarding" you follow the guide there and finally click "SAVE CHANGES". After setting the email settings with:
Connection type: POP3 or IMAP4
Incoming server: pop.gmail.com or imap.gmail.com
Port: 995 (pop3) or 993 (IMAP4)
Encryption: SSL
-Outgoing server: smtp.gmail.com
Port: 465
Encryption: SSL
-Username: Your Gmail ID (without the "@ gmail.com")
-Password: your gmail password
SMTP settings select automatic or manual content
-Outgoing username: Your Gmail ID (without the "@ gmail.com")
-Outgoing password: your gmail password
